The NexGen Music crew is back again with their latest installment of deep, soulful and sophisticated Drum & Bass; featuring one of the UK's most cultured Liquid Drum & Bass DJ / Producers: Qumulus, alongside recent label addition: EastColors, representing the Russian Federation. Following straight off the back of the label's 15 fresh titles released digitally in January of this year, NexGen returns to Drum & Bass traditional 12" media with two classy bangers entitled 'Seasons of Change' & 'Underwater'.

A: QUMULUS – 'SEASONS OF CHANGE'

After you pick this up go home (or to studio) and put the record on the deck. Prepare a glass of something 'nice' and put the needle on the record. Kick back and then listen to this one all the way through. This track takes you on a deep mystical journey through past, present and into the future. 'Seasons of Change' is pure vibes featuring wave upon wave of lush chord & piano progressions, with crisp shuffling drums swimming in signature Qumulus bassline. This is simply one of those tracks that will have you instantly hooked!

AA: EASTCOLORS – 'UNDERWATER'

Following on from his first NexGen release earlier this year 'Hold You' (digital), EasColors provides us with a flip worthy of an A-side in its own right. The only way to describe this tune is "Complete and utter PHATNESS with a soulful kinda swing". 'Underwater' is as deep as the title suggests but make no mistake – it's all groove. If you need a track with a little more edge but wanting to avoid total dance-floor destruction - this is the one. Don't sleep on this one…

Watch out for upcoming NexGen Music releases featuring Earth Leakage Trip, D.A, Cutworks & Nummix, TKR, Neveready, Rob Sparx, Nemanoe, mSdoS, Kubatko, Brokendrum, Moody Bootleggers, Dub Kinetic, plus many others.
