SLaPiNFuNK has been a musician since he was 6 years old. Started by teaching him self how to play guitar till he switched to the bass at the age of 13. Since then he has played acoustic bass in many different jazz bands backing jazz artists like Bobby Watson and John Faddis. He has even played bass in the rock band ESTRANGEMENT based out of Miami Florida and was a co-writer / bassist for Vanilla Ice's new album "BI-POLAR" to be released 2001. At the age of 15 SLaPiNFuNK discovered electronic music. Started going to parties just to listen to the music and then found him self producing his own tracks.
Then was turned onto the art of Mixing, which opened up his musical ears to a whole new world. Currently he plays sets of mostly originals and unreleased material from artists around the world with final scratch. He recently graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Synthesis. He attended Berklee on a full scholarship because of accomplishments such as being selected by the National Arts and Recognition talent search.
SLaPiNFuNK has currently worked on tunes in the studio with DJ RAP of propa talent and has some tracks coming out on a video game for all major gaming consoles!

Born and raised on a farm in southeast missouri, Dj Phelyne was training to be a superstar dj before she was even old enough to start preschool. Phelyne spent many hours playing her fathers "hipppy" records on his one of a kind 1970's technique turntable. Her first demo was recorded when she was 5 years old (even though it had no music and was produced BY a five year old <:) She moved to the Kansas City Missouri area in elementary school and by the time middle school came about, she was quickly drawn into the urban lifestyles of beat neck poetry, graffiti artwork, breakdancing and DRUM AND BASS/hip hop/jungle. By the time she was in high school and had frequented the underground scene, she knew her calling--to hunt down and discover the essence of jungle and to MASTER it. In mid 1999 she was lucky enough to get her very own dj setup and by 2000 was djing for local clubs and parties in the Kansas City area. Not only is Phelyne unique in her ability to mix the complex sounds of jungle, she is also secretly producing some of the freshest jungle that people have yet to comprehend. Do not let her appearance fool you, she has a dire determination to expand and create the newest, dopest, and most powerful jungle for people to naw on. Keep an eye on this lovely kitten, for she will enchant you! Watch out for new major releases by this lady of jungle. She will be dropping her self-produced tunez on her own record label shortly..so watch out fo da duBs!
