Silly question, or is it?

I didn't see any other topic posts like this one or anything useful in the FAQ's, but I need to know:

What's the difference between the sentbox & the outbox...I first thought the sentbox was all the pm's u sent & the outbox was where u could save drafts waiting to be sent, but then I thought I sent a "pm," but it ended up in the outbox. At this point, I'm thinking it might get transferred to the sentbox when someone reads it b/c it said "Unread" when I moved the mouse over the icon next to the message.

Can someone take 2 seconds & clear this up 4 me?

Actually, one more thing about the message system. I know I sent a message to more than one user & it is not in either the sentbox or the outbox, but I got a response from the user so I know the message was sent out at least??? I'm thinkin it might not register if u send directly from a forum, but not sure.

Out box means that it has not been read yet.

Sent box means it's been read.

Cheers.
