My many not hippie friends
The many talented DJ's who are close friends
Cheap covers and beers that cost under $5
Abscence of elietest attitudes
The sun
My house
My job
My cat
The politically conservative voices of reason
IKKI
Breaks
Wide, smooth, non-congested roadways and no tool bridges ( the Golden Gate costs $5 now)
The overall easy living - you sometimes don't realize how great it really is untill you have to deal with the stressfull realities of metropolitan living. In a strange twist of events, EVERYONE I meet is looking for the same kind od job, house, party ... sometimes it's easier being in the minority. Appriciate what ya'll got out there. It ain't that bad.

I haven't been too deep into the scene here in a while but I will certainly share my insights and comparisons on the scene here in the near future.
