That was kinda dick. Don't see me all over Proton's threads doggin them with our logo. A little mutual respect would be nice.Capt-Sue wrote:It's all about
Congrats on the nominations!
As for Switch and MacGuyver, they're actually founding members of Pulse. The 64kb limit is because, unlike most radio stations, we're comprised of almost totally live shows from around the world. Australia has some technology limitations, so rather than kill off our Australian DJs, we've kept it at 64kb til their technology options have increased. Now that it's a little better of a situation over there, the 128 or 96 kb stream should be available shortly.

Much agreed.Gryphyn wrote: That was kinda dick. Don't see me all over Proton's threads doggin them with our logo. A little mutual respect would be nice.

Well, it's unfortunate someone from my camp did the same thing, but all in all it's still a bit of a thread jack. Like Kerry jumping in on a Bush ad and waving a big donkey flag around.
Regardless, I'm not gonna make THAT big of a deal out of it. Just seemed a little tactless to me. All is well in radioland....

Listen, I'm not gonna make a big deal out of it, especially since someone from Pulse thought it was equally kosher to drop in on other threads. I think it's a joke that kinda toes the line, but if it wasn't meant to be an insult then so be it, no worries.
As for it bein politics, I'm real used to everything bein political round here, and I know with all the drama on the Jax section ya'll know what I mean. I'm proud of the guys @ Pulse, especially my Florida team...we've got a lot ridin against us when it comes to the technology limitations...so I'm keen to defend them against insult. That's all.
