fx = abbreviation for fracture
osteomalacia = softening of bones
pubis symphysis = Cartilaginous disk joining the two pubic bones
lumbocostal = pertaining to the loin and ribs.
Smooth muscles are controlled by the autonomic nervous system and operate the internal organs, blood vessels, and glandular ducts.
cancellous bone = Spongy, porous, bone encased in compact bone
adduction = Movement of the arm toward the midline of the body
c1 - c7 = The abbreviation for the cervical vertebrae
"-asthenia" = lack of strength
pronation = Turning the palm of the hand backward (down)
bursa = A small, fluid-filled sac that allows for easy movement of one part of a joint over another

i finally finished the course around 2 am this morning and i got a whopping A! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. it's crunch time folks. finals week!

i want to go into ob/gyn or surgery. go figure. i will cut things up for a living! (and sew them back up of course... muahah!)

yeah, wow that's a blast from the past. Takes me back to my anatomy/physiology class in 10th grade. (yeah i was the only sophmore in that class.)
