We have a house monthly in the works as you all well know. What I'm trying to get here, is your prefferences on house music. What type you like and preffer so we can get this house music going.

House is such a broad term so what styles did you have in mind?
It really depends on the size of the venue, as well as the average age you're targetting.
If it's small than just go with some nice Suolful Jazzy House.
If it's a rather big spot you've got everything from Chicago House and New York Hard House, to Tech and Electro House, Disco Punk, Oldschool House, Tribal House, Progressive House, and UK Hardhouse.
Personally I think a good Progeressive leaning House night sprinkled with some of the other styles mentioned would be cool.

If the venue is small, a nice soulfull house. Tribal, Jazzy type stuff would be nice. A chilled atmosphere. We need one, in my opinion.
However, if you are looking for a big club atmosphere then some HardHouse, some prog, some oldschool thrown in. House scenes aren't my thing, but if it isn't the same old generic mainstream stuff, giving a new vibe, I'll definatly check it out!

Well it's at Eclipse, ( yes ) it's a small venue, but that's the whole thing the pole, is to venture outside of us/ our opinion and try to give the crowd what they want and feel they would like to have.... after all it is THE CROWD that's going to listen... Correct?
