Well it seems good things do come to those who wait, last Thursdays Breakspoll Awards saw Atomic Hooligan cement themselves as a growing force within the music we all love!
Their critically acclaimed debut LP ‘You Are Here’ secured them the Album of Year award which saw them up against the likes of Ils, General Midi, Split Loop and Rogue Element.
2006 looks set to be a proper stormier of a year for the Atomic Hooligan boys, with an mix CD fourth coming on Botchit & Scarper, packed with exclusives and top drawn cuts and numerous Singles and Remixes in the pipeline they show no sign of slowing down and resting on their loins!
Botchit & Scarper caused quite a stir at Breakspoll, gaining nominations within other categories, Deekline & Wizard were up for a jaw dropping three awards Best Producer, Best Single ‘All Your Love’ and Outstanding Contribution to Breaks.
Atomic Hooligan was also up for Best DJ, showing that these boys rock both on the decks and in the studio!
