My great grandmother on my mom's side was Augusta. Her daughter, my grandmother, was Nellie. My mother was Delores, with her sister named Marlis and her brother named Leslie. My sister and I lucked out with Lori and Heidi.

I think sticking with the Irish tradition on Ken's side is a better idea than going for anyone on my side!

also...Dupree is the name of one of the first 2 brothers from my family to come to America.....

marta is my mom's cousin that passed away when they were teenagers, my mom promised her she will name her daughter after her.
my middle name i have no idea but it is pretty. my last name is german, my father is german and dutch....

sheesh i cant belive im posting my whole name on the interent...must edit ina few minutes..lol

I used to hang with a girl who named her kid Trip, as you guessed it the poor child was conceived on acid...

My name is Dawn Marie...I was named after my mother whose name was originally supposed to be Dawn Marie, but she was the baby and my uncle and aunt couldn't pronounce Dawn Marie. They kept calling her Dungaree. So my grams and pop pop changed her name to Heather Dawn.

My sons first name is after Christopher Columbus (don't ask) middle after one of his father's childhood friends who died when they were in their mid teens.

My daughter got her first name Caitlyn because her father liked that name and her middle name because that was her father's mother's name..

No, I didn't get to name either of my children...that will NOT be the case if I reproduce again which is doubtful!
