maybe a dj Yanni Remix Competition at the Saturday block party?? we'll have quite a few trashcans...the winner will be the one who can best simulate the sounds of fucking monkeys...
ps...thank you Yanni for doubling the size of my thread...and we needed some good flames around here it was getting boring...now back to FMC!
...in addition to the 4 days of indoor/outdoor/gallery parties going on at The Laboratory...FMC is now associated with Total Bummer Festival, running March 25th-27th @ Spin Cycle a mere 4 blocks away...the Bummer fest will be mostly live bands of the alt-something persuasion...lots of Shoe Gaze, Post-Punk, Alt Indie, Underground Electronic, etc, etc...i really have nothing to do with it but we thought it might be nice to provide combo tickets to both events for even more variety for your buck.
FMC VIP tickets will get you into all events, workshops, galleries & afterparties all 4 days of both festivals, and some other shows that same weekend at local venues that we will announce soon. It will also get you a discount at a list of local businesses & restaurants and free merch from some of the artists...
more info to be announced in early February!

Yanni, you can't imagine how many bad trance djs have told me avant music sucks...but i bet the good trance djs all have John Cage cds on their shelves...hmmm...
there is good & bad of every genre. that is what this Feathers Music Conference is about. There will be EDM, Avant, Rock, Pop...we even decided there would be good & bad music...that is where you came into the lineup. It was a joke & yet you take it so seriously.
history lesson: the first "electronic music" was avant noises & frequency modulations. without this crucial first step there would be no electronic tracks for you to steal & poorly mash together. ever heard a Moog used in EDM? well Bob Moog didnt make Trance music. He made experimental & avant music. He gave his first ever Moog made to Sun Ra.
education is key. hatin' is just that. peace.
