Niiice forum!
I'm new here so I thought I'd hook you guys up with my new mix. I created this mix for the "Beauty & the Beats: Female DJ Mix Battle" sponsored by BPM Magazine & Rockstar Energy Drink, whose entry qualifications require a 30 minute limit on the mix, however, I did manage to drop 16 tunes (12 DnB & 4 bonus hip hop) & tons of scratch phrases. I also included one of my original tracks as a preview of what's to come. Who knows if I'll get to compete in the finals but I figured I'd share my entry mix with you guys.

We've only been playing DnB steadily for about 3 yrs now...but have adored it for decades. We did tour called 'The Bomb Tour' with Danny the wildchild about 4 years ago on six decks..Hip Hop & Dnb which kind of started the whole playing DnB thing. In 2001, we released a few DnB tracks on our albums Digital Soul & Satisfaction Guaranteed..and way back in 1998 we released the first ever turntablist DnB tracks on our 'Fathomless EP' (Faust, Shortee & Craze). We also have a few other DnB mix CDs out. You can hear all these jammies for free on our website's audio player @ http://www.faustandshortee.com
We've always played a variety of styles including hip hop (house, breaks funk soul etc) but because of our albums & the movie SCRATCH most just know us for hip hop. Lately we've really just been focusing on DnB & Hip Hop/B-boy Breaks ....& just now starting to release some Drum & Bass tracks so be on the lookout for some fresh tunes. It's very addictive as you know
