"CD, Spun, Mixed and MC'd by MC XYZ"

MC XYZ
This mix, entitled It Is What It Is, features MC XYZ on the mic and on the decks (under the DJ moniker "Bumrussian"). The mix more than a year old and in it XYZ tries to touch upon many different sounds and styles of drum n bass. With over 3,000 records of all sorts to his name, sometimes XYZ just likes to make his own mixes and rhyme over them (the predecessor to this mix is a CD entitled "Something, Something"). From Shy FX to General Malice to XXXL & Chris Paul to Dylan to Krust to Die, this mix has a little bit of everything not to mention his lyrics.
Also be sure to check the last song on the CD ("Fireworks") which is a downtempo song he worked on with 2 producers (who have done music work for The Oscars, Grammys and Nike.com) and a Dutch vocalist (who people say sounds strikingly similar to a most revered Icelandic artist). XYZ lends his songwriting writing, artistic view and of course lyrics to this track. Be sure to check out MC XYZ featured in this month's Rinse Magazine in the "On The Mic" section also...
