Ableton question

Whats the best way to warp an Acapella or variable tempo track with out having to listen to it through the metronome for hours on end any hints or tip or even links to tutorials would be greatly appreciated.

guess the downbeat of the acapella, put marker #1 on the downbeat, left click (command click mac) on marker #1 and choose 'warp from here(straight)' that should get you pretty close, it may say 127.89 bpm, round it to the nearest one, 128 in that case, then just tweak every 8 bars or so with a warp marker to get it nailed. I add a ton of markers to get the groove of each word just right when using acapellas, takes time but pays off a lot.
