I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE KNOWS THAT ANDY HUGHES HAS DONE THE COOLEST THING I'VE SEEN A DJ DO ON HIS WEBSITE.

SINCE ABOUT 1993 ANDY HUGHES HAS PUT OUT A MIX DEMO , ( STARTED ON 120 MIN TAPES ) THAT ALWAYS HAD THE NEWEST AND DOPEST HOUSE , TRANCE , BREAKS OUT.

THESE TAPES WE'RE HOT !
THEY WE'RE DUPLICATED AND PASSED AROUND ALL THE TIME. THEY EVEN KEPT ALOT OF AFTERPARTIES GOING.

I REMEMBER GETTING HIS AND CHRIS FORTIER'S TAPES ALL THE TIME . THEY ALWAYS HELPED ME WITH WHAT TRACK WAS WHAT. AND NEW MUSIC AS IT CAME OUT.

NOW A FEW MONTHS BACK I BOUGHT A RECORD FROM ANDY THROUGH EBAY. I NOTICED ON HIS DESCRIPTION THAT HE HAD A SITE. SO I CHECKED IT OUT . PRETTY COOL , ALL HIS BIO INFO AND HIS CONTACT INFO IS THERE. ONE SECTION IS CALLED DEMOS . I NOTICED HE HAD A FEW MP3 DEMOS READY TO DOWNLOAD. HE ALSO MENTIONED THAT HE WOULD GET MORE OF HIS OLDER ONES READY TO GO IN TIME.

RECENTLY I VISITED AGAIN AND WAS SHOCKED ! HE HAS VIRTUALLY EVERY DEMO HES MADE, READY TO DOWNLOAD!! GOING ALL THE WAY BACK TO 1993 !!! CLASSIC STUFF !!!!

IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD GOOD OLD SCHOOL IN AWHILE , CHECK IT OUT !
IF HAVE'NT HEARD OF ANDY HUGHES , TAKE A LISTEN !!

Hell ya Andy is the man, he's one of the best DJ's ive ever seen in all my years & he's a all around great guy.
His music had a big impact on me as a DJ, I had all his tapes back in the day.
I'll never forget, some years back I had to open for him at BlueRoom, it was also the first time I got to meet him.
I have never been so nervous playing with another DJ, than that night, I looked up to him so much, coming up in this scene.
He was so cool in person & gave me props on my set, I was giddy like a little bitch.

Since then Andy as been a great friend over the years & he's always been there to help.
I had the blessing of playing both in & out of state with him.
If any of you guys are new to things & havn't heard Andy play, please do so.
He's one of the fathers of the FL scene & one of the best damn DJ's in the world bottom line.

man back in the day tapes from andy, sandy, and chris f. were the bomb- great driving music
back in the day when the raves would start wednesday and not end until moday afternoon
