I need help finding songs

[debauchery]

My promoter won't let us spin bangin' progressive, so instead of submitting all the way and spinning lounge, i want to go with a deeper progressive and even a bit of trance. A la Holden or Gabriel and Dresden... that sort. Any help would be greatfully appreciated!

Yeah, actually i was gonna post in the Jax forum but I didn't know you were the same James Sanders. The mixes were flawless, but give me a bit of time to give you a detailed review!

CHRIes, that is one hell of a list. It looks like we are gonna play loungey house till 12:30 and than get into some fresh tracks you would hear down south. I can get away with playing remixes i.e Scumfrog's remix of Everytime, Duncan Shiek "higher" and some deeper prog.. I know i am not allowed to play any epic trance or breaks (intell. breaks i could prob get by on), so I am trying to get a sound that is enjoyable to the guy standing at the bar, and the drunk girl trying to dance.

I would like to play tracks less than a year old, so if you know of any pop remixes that fit the kind of style i'm talkin bout, please let me know. Again great list, appreciate you helpin' me out! Because that list is so big and diverse, do you mind singling out a few tracks that kinda fit what im talkin about? Thanks again bro!

Actually, almost that whole list is made of songs that fit exactly what you're going for, ie intelligent Breaks (Hybrid, Hyper), or the type of Progressive tunes and remixes associated with Scumfrog or the Duncan Sheik remix.
I'll try and narrow it down later tonight (before I go see Dave Seaman) to records from the past year, but I strongly encourage you to check out ALL the records I listed. You might find a lot of gems in there, I know they are for me
A lot of the older tunes are probably not available on vinyl anymore, except for a select few shops (like Hard To Find Records www.htfr.com), but you can probably find them on quality compilations (that is if you're allowed to play CDs).
