ummm graffiti ? markers duhh.
word it is always very important 2 include this in rave promos/adverts
& especially promos for a club my goodness.
i know a lot about promoing for underground raves & i know that graff artists look for underground raves so they can go & bomb at these raves
well maybe not as much in florida or even america for that matter but these graff artists do go to raves 2 bomb cuz they are underground parties.
cuz there is usually no security or nothin. cuz a rave is not a club.
so what happens is the graff artists come & tag the walls up like hella then
the promoters cannot use the same location again because there will be taggs on the walls so if they get busted even the next time using the same location they can be charged for the taggs that are up form the previous rave. but so what a promoter isnt supposed 2 use the same underground location twice reguardless. for safety reasons & if they are down with the graff artists they def. never use the same location twice.
or! if the rave is staged meaning they paid for the location to be used for the night well then later on after the building is bombed with graffs the promoters could get in trouble with the owner.
so it is always important to put no graffiti no markers in any adverts or promos unless like me, you are all about the underground scene and know a lot about it.
i myself wouldnt have an underground rave unless it was completely underground & not staged. & where graffiti is NOT prohibited.
if you break into a building & hold that shit down undergroudn no one will find the place & therefore it would be alrite for artists to throw up tags.
although ive come to realize this isnt such a big problem in usa (graff artists bombing the buildings) it is still important to include this text " no graffiti /no markers in the promoing stages of the rave. "
or ou re gonna have some masked bombers comming throwing up mad graffiti at your event. lol
& even worse if you promo your underground rave sloppy graff artists will come tag that shit cuz you didnt promo it correctly trust me i know a lot about it.
if a group of graff artists are planning to atend your underground rave & they find out it is staged & not a propper break in. they will come write all over the walls anyways just because you re having an "underground" party the wrong way seriously.
but anyways this isnt an underground event we are speaking of so it's even more important for them to put no graffiti & no markers in the promoing because if a graff artist comes to an event thinking they are going to be allowed 2 tag & then they are inturupted & forced to stop there art, they could get upset. so it's alwas best to include that text in any promo adverts.

i would never had a rave myself unless it was a real underground party with walls & i wouldn't write anything about graffiti in my adverts.

Actually no, Bombing and Tagging is ugly as sin. Either your just trying to destroy shit (in my case). Or your a jock, meaning your trying to have your name out the most and in the hardest to hit spots. The process is more art than the physical art left behind.Angie wrote:ok ...

Hey now.. we're not dumbass ravers.... I was really only putting it up cuz i thought it was an interesting list. I probably won't go to Planetfest, but that doesn't mean i don't listen to a lot of that kind of music. And besides.. that's not a "normal list" that they use at concerts.. i mean c'mon.. look at that list.
