That's not entirely accurate. The topics posted in the Politics forum are completely relevant to the country we live in. They are posted to spark internal debate. There's plenty of discussion and analysis on my part, underground and matt.D Min wrote:the politics forums are all copy/paste/agrgue/slander. Nothing too special, lol.
It's true that there is fighting, but with such heated topics that can be expected. Arguements ensue when people can't defend their positions and start name calling. In all honesty, the Jax board has become one big advertisement medium for everyone's awesome, earth shattering shows. It's certainly no more "special" than the politics forum.

i agree-it seems to be a huge advert which sometimes is cool-its great to see what other edm "lovers" in the city are up to-seems to be a lot of sucking up to locals too-is this to get a set or get on a list?-sorry to be cynical...what about some talk about music?

I couldnt agree more. Everyonce in a while there is something worthwild.. but that seems to be very far and few inbetween. Trying to navigate the forum into a civil manner is like navigating in a hurricane. Thou I do see some break in the clouds in the distance.D Min wrote:the politics forums are all copy/paste/agrgue/slander. Nothing too special, lol.

This is true.. especially with egos that are relentless (self included). Its hard to step back sometimes and remember to keep an open mind by thinking," the only thing I know is that I know nothing." You just cant say it outloud.. or you'll get attacked faster than an jewish american at Osama's birthday party.deepfriedtwinkie wrote:everyone thinks he/she knows the shit-owns the shit-!
burn... You really think it's sucking up? our locals are awesome, and I could care less about a booking or being on a guest list... I just like to come out and party to good music, and that's what many of our locals allow me to do time and time again.i agree-it seems to be a huge advert which sometimes is cool-its great to see what other edm "lovers" in the city are up to-seems to be a lot of sucking up to locals too-is this to get a set or get on a list?-sorry to be cynical...what about some talk about music?
We got some great dj's in jacksonville, and I just earnestly appreciate that fact.
I know this probly wasn't pointed directly at me or anything, it just caught me off guard.

it was directed at no one in particular-i believe that there are many people (you inclided dbk) that are in it to have a good time-i am spoiled by some djs that arent around anymore (on to producing, kids "LIFE"-etc) and i kind of wish for the house parties of yesteryear...it just seems to me that the underground went back underground
