Post em here, I'll be studying or at tha beach, unless some worth while event comes along. I say we throw an event called "Equadox" -The Revolt Begins - Featuring Rival Nation with MC NeXile and Digital Mix Master DaViNiX on tha ones and twos. Then we can get all the no name dj's we can find and just let em trow down at a remote location.

That'd be the one... oh, but MTV gets better for like a month, so that's kinda cool.

I'm probly gonna go see Digweed in Atlanta in April, so that'll be my little four day "mini-spring-break".

*random mtv spring break story*

around ten years ago, maybe a little less, i was killing time in panama city, driving a boat for a friends para-sailing business on the beach behind club lavela (sp?). now this is during spring break, and the fucking place was packed with the mtv crowd.

we get a radio call that some guy is trapped under a capsized jet ski. we drive over, pull him out, and start cpr as we drive back to the beach.

the crowd, being filmed for that show where everyone is just dancing (the grind?) won't get out of the way for the ambulance. i mean, this guy is dead, and getting deader, and the fucking emt's have to fight to get the strecher through the crowd, while everyone just stands around dancing and trying to look cool for the camera.

the moral of this story? none, really, but fuck mtv spring break.

My spring break at school is the week after WMC...that sugs...but since I still have to work that week it won't matter anyway.

I remember back in the early ninetees when MTV used to come to Daytona Beach every year. I was in junior hs and I saw Primus, Vanilla Ice, Dr. Dre, Marky Mark, and all kinds of people here in my hometown. Anyway, the city used to be a fugging mad house for like a month. But, those days are over with. I wouldn't enjoy those performers now (except Primus) but it would be cool if there was still something that went on here that month...other than drunk ass 16 year olds walking around everywhere.
