What ever happen to parent- teacher conference or student to student mediation? I mean really, do you really have to control a kid by electric shocking him or her? Teachers use to beat students with rulers and belts? That was then banned cause it was considered cruel. All of sudden, we're zapping kids? What kind of space-out discipline is this? Sound like Lethal Weapon 1 when Mel Gibson was getting shocked or some kind of S&M freak domination. Whatever happen to comforting?
work is for the low!

well its been proven that if a child does have a heart problem or epilptic(spelt wrong)/seizures extremely high like 90's% would die if were shocked by a police tazer.

I am 100% against corporal punishment for personal reasons, but I believe that some children will not respond to parent-teacher conferences or time-outs. If your child was in high school, and another child came through the door with a gun ready to let loose, would you rather the security guard have a gun or taser gun, or would you stick to your original position? Being prepared for the worst is often the best policy. Better training for the cops and security guards is really the only option at this point.

I was a BAD kid in school...I deserved to be tasered at times...
got kicked out of public school freshman year of h.s....
went to rehab twice between ages 13-14...
AND I WAS NOTHING COMPARED TO THESE KIDS!!!!!
I don't know how they deal with that shit (teachers/parents)!
I can't even comprehend what state of mind I was in back then...
I feel bad about it and appologize every so often to my parents for all the gray hairs I gave them...

AND LOOK AT ME NOW!!!! :dwarf:
