The original mix to synaesthesia fuses a boundary between progressive & trance, with a rolling bassline tinged with tough beats in contrast to a light synth line. Delicate piano stabs cause a rippling change to bring the track into peak time action. Subtle bass changes gently ebb to decrease the mood to that of a sinister dirty progressive monster! The break down holds all the emotion – bringing in new elements & sounds to cut the track back to the trancier egde. A track for all tastes!
PJ Davy Mix
PJ has produced a remix showcasing his personal touch – deep techy progressive! A light kick drum & busy bassline filter through the teasing percussion. Hernan Catteneo has been quick to champion this at all his major events of the past month – from the Essential Mix @ Skolbeats to Homelands 2005. Its easy to see why - as the production is crisp & sharp, filtering the major trance elements out and flowing a new wave of sounds down the right channels. The breakdown emphasises on a cheeky acid line effected to trudge chords and flip back into the quirky 4/4.
