Pink A Pads are a duo of two young Italian producers, Andrea Barbara and Manuel Goletto. Originally breaks and drum & bass producers, the duo have had releases out previously on Dirty Drop, VIM and Hypotron. In July last year, their friend and fellow countryman Luigi Barone (aka Break the Box / Gigi Barocco) brought them to the attention of Ground Level, and over the last year the duo have cultivated their sound to encompass Hip House, Fidget and electro grooves. The Il Moralista EP shows the maturing of their sound, Il Moralista builds through mashed up vocals to a main hook that sounds almost a bit French for an Italian duo, Farabutto on the other hand takes a melodic hook and throws in all sorts of filtering, edits and sound manipulation to build a solid dancefloor groove! Doc Trashz, another exciting new Italian artist and former ITF scratch champion, takes on Il Moralista head on, ripping it to pieces and building a nasty synth screaming baltimore groove, not for the faint hearted!
