'Dusted Roots Vol 7' brings the hugely popular series on San Francisco's Prismatic Tracks to a close in fine style. Since their inception in September 2008 Andrew Phelan & Origami's Dusted Roots EPs have become an eagerly anticipated series of releases. For Volume 7 they welcome long-time collaborator Brown to the fold for five tracks of the now traditional big basslined, deep, funky and disco-tinged ass-shakin' jams.

Previous volumes in the Dusted Roots series have reached #1 on Stompy.com's top 100, received praise from iDJ, DJ Mag, DMC Update and Urb, and hit the playlists of DJs as wide ranging as Funk D'Void, Heather, Mark Farina, Mazi, Jay-J, Colette, Doc Martin, Robert Owens and Laurent Garnier.

Reviews
DMC Update: For the last set in the series, the pair bring Benjamin 'Brown' McCourt on board for opening guitar-flecked thumper 'I Hate You' before ejaculating four more disco-fired whoopers blessed with bison scrotum bass, contagious chants and cool piano action. We'll miss this fun-packed stream but there's bound to be further gems lurking in Moulton Studios' collective bladder.

Inhale: When a house music tag team includes these three guys you know the output is gonna be great...this EP is a great example of a wide range of styles with one common link: good old fashioned disco!
