Outkast's critically acclaimed and commercial blockbuster double CD Speakerboxxx/The Love Below has been certified six times platinum.
The group's album is competing with 50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Trying to claim the title as the most certified album of 2003.
The album debuted on five separate charts, has earned six Grammy nominations and moved over a half a million copies in the first week.
In the latest round of record setting, Andre 3000's "Hey Ya" broke Eminem's record for the longest running hip-hop video at #1 (8 days) on MTV's TRL, before being retired after 50 days.
