CALLING ALL PEOPLE WHO KNOW ABOUT EDM<-------------------

So I am doing yet another research proposal and this time my topic is about the nature of electronic music and drug use. I know this is a bit of a general topic for us but I am specifically narrowing my question as so....

.......Does the nature of underground electronic dance music cause people to desire to take substaces more than other forms of music. What is it about the music that makes a difference or not in substance use....

....the final question will be worded along those lines...

I am going to have a operational definition of EDM that will be explained in my proposal but I think that you all know what I am talking about.

What I need from you guys is if you know any links that may help me with my initial background research on anything from the theory behind the form of electronic music as well as any legal issues that have been in the news in the past decade concerning people trying to ban shows simply on the grouds that they believe that EDM is causing drug use more than other forms of music....etc..

I would also like you opinions on the subject as well.....

I am eventually going to do a survey of sorts, but I think that your opinions on the board here will help me construct a better survey for the average party-goer.
