This is for all you 21-and-overs who haven't a thing to do on Wednsday nights from 11-2. There is a new DJ in town, all the way from Chicago. I got a mix CD passed on to me from a friend of mine, and let me tell ya it is HOT!!! Progressive, deep, funky and spacey - the music is Smooth and sexy...and ladies...from what I have seen, so is the DJ. His name is Dave Brock, and from what I have been told, he has been all over the US and has shared venues with the likes of Derick Carter, Deepsky, Digweed, Scott Hardkiss, Chris Liberator, and a bunch of others I'd tell ya about...but there's waaaaay to many to list here.
He will be starting a night at the Atlantic Club in Jax Beach on Wed. nights. And this Wed. 05-19-04 is his first.
So come out and support this cat. If he sounds anything live like he does on this CD, be prepared to dance your ass off and LOVE EVERY minute of it. Oh, and I hear that his newest mix CD will be passed out free to the first 50 people that show up. The CD is called "SOLID," and its the one that I have heard.
So ladies and gents...lets bring some people out and show this town that house is still hot...when its played like he plays it!!!!
