Rashid Hadee's “Dedication” to be Released by Neblina

(Charlotte, NC, May 8, 2007) --- Neblina Records announced they are releasing Rashid Hadee's (of Chapter 13) solo album, Dedication. Released in both physical and digital form, the album will be a total re-work of the Japanese version, which was released by P-Vine Japan in late 2005.

The US version of “Dedication” contains 14 tracks, the majority of which were produced by Rashid Hadee. Young Valentine (of Chapter 13) and Melatone tackle the remainder of the production. Expect to hear vintage Chapter 13 production reminiscent of classics such as "Watchin' My Moves" and "Demonz" on tracks like "Let Go", "Addiction" and "From Six to Seven".

With it's updated golden-era vibe, the first single, "Surrender" (featuring Manov War & DJ Resident) urges women to let go of their inhibitions and give their all to the two MCs. "You got a man, you need to ex your guy, or even keep him, me and you can even kick it on the weekend" flatly states Rashid, while DJ Resident deftly scratches Method Man in the chorus, demanding listeners to "reach for the sky".

Dedication is a musical journey through the unpredictable streets of Rashid's hometown, Chicago. The beat maker/MC emphatically states, “It's just like the most amazing city to me. The scenery, the people, the strive, the hunger, the hustle, the ladies, and just the emotion I peep daily from myself and other people all influence me musically and personally. Just like they say in the song “Respiration”, I can feel the city breathing. That's real though, I just express everything through music and my everyday living...”

The talented producer has laced tracks for MCs such as Little Brother, Psalm One & Longshot, Thaione Davis and Manov War. He has also shared production duties with fellow Chi-town native Kanye West and produced songs for Abstract Mindstate that featured Common Sense and Special Ed.

Rashid’s work has been featured on MTV.com, Hiphopsite.com, Hiphopgame.com, DJ Mag (UK), Stealth Magazine (Australia), Rapmullet.com, Violatordjs.com, Spitkickers.com, Hip-hop-elements.com, MVRemix.com, Out4Fame Magazine (Australia), Serie B Magazine (Spain), IGN.com, Platform8470.com, Webbeatz.de, Thick.com, Legacy Magazine and many more.
