nowhere near enough room in the topic heading to explain what is going on here...HUGE All Day/All Ages Skate Competition/Demo + Live Miami Bass from Electronic Music Celebrity & Ambassador to the Empire of Otto Von Schirach, Peasants With Feathers + 1/2 of the international superstar team Miami Bass Warriors, Mr Jose El Rey + Live Gainesville Punk & HipHop + Djs of all shapes & sizes + Live Graffiti art + Graffiti LESSONS for the kiddies + OPEN tag wall + Board customization + art & gear raffles all day + who the fuck knows what else...its still over 2 months away...

indeed...

a 20,000 square foot warehouse with a beer license, plenty of parking & no neighbors to get pissed off. Gainesville has needed a place like this for a while...Now i'm just on the hunt for a proper sound system for all that open space!

btw...this is the same Peasants with Feathers that will be onstage alongside music legends 2 Live Crew, Skinny Puppy, DJ Craze & pitchfork's producer of the year, Joker...all between now & this Gainesville show. these guys are no fucking joke. this will be massive.

Jose el Rey can't make it & will be sending LineNoise & Thug Jesus in his place...basically meaning the party just got even crazier...masked men with synths on top of 20 ft vert ramps...not to mention EDM in a 20,000sqft warehouse! When is the last time that happened legally Gainesville?

plus the afterparty has the return of DJ CADAVER JUNKY (aka Sean Monistat)
alongside Gainesville's famous Mistress Wendi doing a live fetish show...

a full weekend of madness fo sho

oh yeh...and sound is straight now...we gots some 18s & Crowns...oh yes...

get more sound imo. u need like 4-5 amps and shit ton of speakers to set up in there (at least). I would even think about hanging carpets or some kind of sound buffer around the building...that would make a huge difference

heh...yeh well...if anyone feels like donating some speaker rentals to the cause of a legal edm warehouse party here in town, we would be more than appreciative, and hook your business up with banner space, booth space etc during the party!!!

As is, its not perfect acoustics...but its more speakers than have ever been used in the place & its the first edm played there...i would think an extra pair of 18s & an extra couple of amps would be added with each additional show, assuming the turnout is positive...which looks to be more on the ridiculous side right now

Kid Kadian from South Florida will be doing live visual displays...on TWO screens side by side...each bigger than a full size movie theater screen! I have no doubt this will be the largest visuals display gainesville has ever seen hehehe...

also, pro skateboarding celebrity & the fucking inventor of the manual will be giving a Demo and will be generally hanging out before the music starts. For those of you who dont know, check any of the Tony Hawk Skateboarding video games!!!

first let me say this entire weekend was one of the smoothest, happiest, dopest sounding weekends i've ever had in this town. Not a single hint of drama or unhappiness...one kid said the headliner's music sucked, but within 15 minutes he was dancing to the same dj & hugged us by the end of the show saying it was great & he was a jackass hahahahaha...Jawsome fucking rocked it as always...Scum of the Earth was great & even played an entire encore set after the party was over!! All the edm djs were awesome & made such an impact that the skatepark now wants to do "more all electronic shows"...meaning i'll be getting with quite a few djs off this site over the coming year...the guys from Miami blew people's minds as expected...and i cant wait to see them play to an even bigger crowd at Candyland this weekend!!! Kid Kadian's projections were a bit dim as the lights had to be on for the skaters, but the kids still loved the skating visuals! Everyman Sound hooked it up proper & the whole building was filled with bass...and Phil & everyone else at the park were wonderful from start to finish. Even the afterparty was smooth with the bass & Eclipse lasers hitting till 4am when we all just passed out...

cheers to good people & good music! Cannot wait for the next one!
