Who would even want to go play a gig for an hour. 60 DJ playing an hour each.
Is it just me or does this make no sense at all.... What's the use?

Well if each of the 60 djs brings 6-10 paying friends with them that's about $7000-$12000 if tix are $20 a piece. It makes perfect sense for the promoter but not so much for the 60 djs.

Wonder what they are getting paid for that hour,,, that more than likely will turn out to be 40minutes.

Yeah, you're all correct. I should never have agreed to play this big ass event at a beautiful mansion. lol

I don't care what I am getting paid. I have a job.

Nobody is hatin'; this is enation.

I never have understood these events. The most I have lasted is 10-12 hours at an event with all known headliners to keep me interested.

I'm not sure about the yoga and the poetry and stuff like that...at least not in this country with the people that live around Orlando.

I hate camping. btw

I would rather...be at my or my friend's house...get pre tanked...go to an event and get rocked for 4 hours....then go home and slip into a swimming pool and then into something else  That's about all the weekend I can handle these days.

No, I'm not really worried about the amount of money that I make off of DJing at shows. That's not to say that I'm getting nothing. But, it isn't that big of a deal. I enjoy what I do and I find that it's a lot less enjoyable when I'm worried about how much I'm getting paid and if I have to chase down a promoter at the end of the night. I've been through it too many times. Yeah, I'm a professional. I'm fairly good at what I do. Reason being, because I LOVE what I do. I'm glad that I make enough money at my regular job to be able to afford me the luxury of not caring how much I'm getting paid to DJ and these things. I'm part of a HUGE event at a KILLER VENUE. Shit man... shouldn't that be enough?
