DJ JennR8: Jennifer Dawn AKA (JennR8) seemed destined for music, playing the piano at age four. Originally from the DC/VA area she moved to Florida in 93' when she began collecting records. In 96' she bought her first pair of turntables and began mixing. Her electronic roots are in breaks, but her style quickly progressed into hard house and dark jungle rhythms. Today she continues to mix them all! She began playing out for people in Central Florida, and gained her first club residency in 97'. In 99' Jenn entered a DJ contest being held at Sol-Rays in Daytona Beach. After six weeks of battle, she emerged with a first place finish, and became a Saturday night resident alongside Def Jeff. The following year she maintained her residency as well as playing various other club dates in Florida. Most recently she spent time in New York City, where she held a residency on Saturday nights at the Tunnel. After several months, JennR8 is back in the DC/VA area where she has played at

Buzz and the Edge. She's also spending time working on producing her own tracks. Be on the lookout for this young female phenom, making noise in this male dominated industry!!

Sinestro: DJ Sinestro is one of the DC/Baltimore area's most loved DJ/Producer's. With over seven year's experience and countless parties, club nights, and special events under his belt, it is no wonder people are talking. His mixing style is like none other in the US. Combining elements of Hip Hop, Techno, House, Electro, Break Beats, and off the wall tracks, he is best known for live performances that span 8 to 9 different genres. Combining the ability to go through records at a fast pace (one of his mix CD's had an amazing 42 tracks in an hour!) and reading crowd response to enable him to play the right tracks at the right times. This eclectic style is a direct response drawn from influences DJ/Producers like Richie Hawtin, DJ Dan, and Laurent Garnier, to rock and hip-hop artists like Devo, Bad Brains, Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Public Enemy, and a huge helping of underground and pop culture. Alone or as part of "S&M" with DJ Miah, Sinestro always pushes the boundaries and does what he love's best which is making people dance. Sinestros career highlights include his 2nd place finish at the 1997 Buzz/Fever DJ Contest (beating out such talented DJ's as Wilhelm K, TY-T, J Smooth, and Prime Mover). Sinestro's huge DC fan base and kinetic skills have landed him as a headliner or support act for some of the biggest names in electronica including Carl Cox, Josh Wink, Richie Hawtin, Mixmaster Mike (Beastie Boys), Superstar DJ Keoki, Bad Boy Bill and far too many more to name. With so many DJ's popping out on the scene these days, Sinestro realized the need to separate himself from the competition. One way was to produce and promote his own events. As a promoter, Sinestro has produced and promoted countless successful events and club nights over a 5 year span. Another weapon in Sinestro's arsenal has been his amazing skills as a producer and A&R man. With continued DIY passion, Sinestro released his first record on his Random Recordings label, and has continued to produce and perform new tracks to rave reviews. Sinestro has also amassed a crew of top DC area DJ's to perform as part of The Syndicate, his management company with partner DJ Miah. Currently Sinestro is working alongside legendary DJ/Promoters Scott Henry and John Tab at the world-renowned Buzz nightclub in Washington DC, where week after he continues to amaze crowds and press alike. Future singles are in the works for 2001 including; collaboration with Peter Tall from Bassbin Twins set for release on Barely Legal Records. Keep your eyes and ears open for this rising star as things have only just begun.
